Tupelo-Tammy Renee Friloux, 48, died unexpectedly at her residence in Tupelo on Sunday, June 9, 2019. Tammy was born in New Albany on May 28, l971 to John Franklin Stanford and Sandra Kay Dyson Stanford. She attended the public schools of Union County and graduated from W. P. Daniel High School. She attended Northeast Miss. Community College and ultimately earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Her nursing skills were finely honed and she gave her patients the full measure of her compassion and skill. At her death, she was a critical care nurse at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Booneville. Tammy grew up Baptist but became a member of St. James Catholic Church when she moved to Tupelo in l998. Her life centered around providing for and loving and nurturing her 4 children and running. She had compassion for the homeless children She loved to travel and just returned last week from a cruise. Tammy worked hard her entire life and her strength and persistence will be her legacy, along with her lover for Christ her Savior that will live on in her children.
A Mass will be recited at 2 PM Friday, June 14, 2019 at the St. James Catholic Church in Tupelo with Father Joseph Le and Father Henry Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in Tupelo Memorial Park on Joyner St. Visitation will be from 5 PM-7PM today (Thurs. 6/13) at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo Chapel with a prayer service beginning at 7 PM.
Survivors include her four children, Sara Friloux (19), John Louis Friloux (17), Ella Friloux (15) and Steven Friloux (10) all of the home; The father of her children, Dr. Brian Friloux; her parents, Johnny and Kay Stanford of the Keownville Community of Union County. Her sister, Frankie House (Michael) and brother, Liddell Stanford (Lorie) all of Union County. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of other dear relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Pallbearers will be Mark Friloux, David Friloux, Kent Friloux, Bryant Morgan, Todd Sandroni and Will Sandroni.
