Fulton -- Garry Creed Miller, 69, of Plantersville, peacefully passed away on April 24, 2019 at the North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice in Tupelo. He was born December 28th, 1949 in Telico Plains, TN to Elmer and Lura Miller. When he was young, the family moved to Mississippi, where Garry remained for many years. He worked as a skilled carpenter and mason in and around Itawamba County, MS. He had two children, son Troy and daughter Carey. Garry had many struggles in his life, but ultimately overcame them. In his later years, he was dedicated to helping others overcome their struggles with addiction. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Fred, Austin, Tony, and twin brother Larry. He is survived by his sisters, Virgene Luna, Faye Humphries, and Geneve Tice, son Troy Lee Miller, daughter Carey Ann Snyder, son-in-law Jeff Snyder, and granddaughter, Alonna Frances Snyder, as well as many other cousins, nieces, and nephews. Family, friends, and others who knew Garry are invited to his memorial service at Ebenezer Baptist Church on Friday, April 26th at 11:30. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that memorials be made to Proverbs Life Addiction Recovery C/O Create Foundation PO Box 1053 Tupelo, MS 38802 in honor of Garry Miller.
