Donna was born in Houston, Texas on July 1, 1958 to the late Robert Hester, Jr. and Noellene Repult Hester Philpot. She spent most of her adult life in the Plantersville area where she attended Plantersville Jr. High School and later graduated from Shannon High School in 1976. Donna was not afraid of work and spent almost 25 years associated with Fred’s on Varsity Drive in Tupelo. At her death, she was co-manager. An animal lover, she loved dogs and rescued many in her life. She loved country music, had a meticulous memory and served as her family archivist, loved to be a confident to many but didn’t mind sharing what she knew with anyone. She was a member of her childhood church, the First Baptist Church, Plantersville.
