She graduated from Tupelo High in 1972 with honors and from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1977. She is survived by her daughter Casey Gamblin of Raleigh, NC., her son Nathan Bean (Lisa) and granddaughter Sophie (whom she absolutely adored) of Bolton, Ms., and her son Justin Bean of Tupelo. Diane was a talented pianist and quite capable flautist who throughout her life served churches and others with her talents.
Diane’s life was filled with almost constant challenges---physical, mental, and emotional. Remarkably, she never blamed anyone or anything for her hardships and struggles and never became bitter or angry. Even though her life was unquestionably difficult she was described by those that knew her as kind, thoughtful, and amazingly clever and witty. She loved to read all types and sources of literature as well as engage in lively fun conversations with friends and family. Her unique insight, comments, and quirky personality will be missed.Holland Funeral Directors Tupelo Chapel is honored to assist there friends. All services are private per family request.
