Nettleton – Mrs. Deanna Lee Cox Baldwyn, age 49, died unexpectedly at her residence on Saturday, March 30, 2019. She was born August 13, 1969, in Winona, Mississippi, to Dexter Dean Cox and Brenda Lee Roy Cox and grew up in Tupelo, attending Plantersville schools. She worked in the furniture manufacturing industry employed by Superior Products in Plantersville. She married James Phillip Baldwyn on February 13, 2009, and lived in Nettleton for the past 14 years. Her hobbies included fishing, watching Ole Miss football, and playing with her grandchildren, who lovingly called her Nana.
She is survived by her mother, Brenda Cox of Tupelo; husband, Phillip Baldwyn of Nettleton; son, Joseph Jeder of Nettleton; daughters, Britnie Jeder of Nettleton, Jessica Griffin of Hickory Fla, and Tabitha Mills of Mantachie; step-children, Blair Baldwyn of Tupelo, Sean Baldwyn of Mooreville, and Brittney Baldwyn of Okolona, and their families; brothers, Louis Hunter of Tupelo; sister, Tommy Joslyn of Ecru; 15 grandchildren.
A memorial service at Trace State Park will be announced at a later date. Holland Funeral Directors, Tupelo Chapel is entrusted with arrangements. Condolences to the family may be posted at hollandfuneraldirectors.com.
