Tupelo – Mr. David Paul Worcester, 60, died Monday, February 18, 2019, at North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice Unit following an extended illness. He was born December 11, 1958 in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Norman Ray Worcester and Sarah Irene Cummings Worcester. He enjoyed watching television, talking, procuring all types of items, and fixing things. He loved everyone and everyone that knew him loved him. His most enjoyable time was spent with his large family whom he loved dearly.
A celebration of life service will be at 1 PM, Saturday, February 23, 2019 in the Tupelo Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors with Bro. David Perry officiating. Private burial will follow in Tupelo Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday from 4 PM to 7 PM and Saturday from 12 noon to service time.
Survivors include his life partner, Linda Johnson of Tupelo; daughter, Amber Jackson of Tupelo; 3 brothers, Jimmy Lamar Warren of Aurora, IL, Charles Anthony Warren (Ethel) of Terry, MS, and Tommy Dale Worcester (Loretta) of Tupelo; 4 sisters, Linda Elaine Warren Odle of Tupelo, Teresa Rae McClure (Andy) of Prairieville, LA, Sherri Michelle Kent (Grady) of Pearl, MS, and Lori Irene Braddock (life partner, Linda Johnson) of Conyers, GA; 1 granddaughter, Marrisa Novie Edgeworth and 1 great-granddaughter, Kenley Grayse Edgeworth; 4 nieces, Julie Hicks, Maggie Warren, Bridgette Warren, Aspen Kent, and Katie Worcester; 5 nephews, Anthony Warren, Paden Kent, Lee Bullock, Allen Worcester and Dale Worcester; 3 great nieces, Sarah Warren, Saylor Warren, and Alyssa Hicks; 3 great nephews, Coty Hicks, Taylor McClure, and Jackson Warren; a host of many other dear relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Sean Paul Worcester; nephew, Jeffery Lynn Warren, and brother-in-law, Paul Murray Odle.
Pallbearers will be Allen Worcester, Dale Worcester, Cody Hicks, Lee Bullock, Taylor McClure, and Daytin Davis.
