Flowers & Gifts
On the morning of June 27, 2019, Cole Roberson of Tupelo died at the age of 36. Cole was born in Gulfport, MS in 1982 to Sonny and Suzanne Roberson and graduated from high school in Birmingham, AL in 2000. He attended Mississippi State University and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi. Because of his love for the Dawgs, his diploma is proudly framed in maroon. He has worked at BancorpSouth for nine years.
Cole is preceded in death by his father, Sonny. He is survived by his two children, Keller and Lyla, his mother, Suzanne, his siblings, Selena (Scott) and Zac (Angie), his nephew, Koen, his niece, Kori, his devoted girlfriend, Kellen, and other extended family and friends.
Cole was an active member of the Tupelo recovery community. He was an avid runner and completed his first full marathon in April. Cole loved music and spending time with his family playing board games. He was a dedicated father who would wear a mermaid costume or re-watch all the Marvel movies in order to bring joy to his kids.
Cole was a kind and gentle soul who touched many lives. His quick wit could make anyone laugh, and his affable nature always put people at ease. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and coworkers and in every community of which he was a part.
A visitation will be held from 9:00 – 11:00 AM followed by a public memorial service at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 5, 2019 at Holland Funeral Home in Tupelo, MS with Rev. Angie Roberson officiating.
