Eggville Community-Chasity Denise Brock, 44, met her Savior after an unexpected illness at Baptist Hospital-Booneville on Friday, June 21, 2019. Born in Tupelo on October 17, l974 to the late Lowell Brock( who died 30 years ago on June 21, 1989) and Julia Franks Brock, Chasity grew up in the Eggville Community and graduated in 1993 from Mooreville High School. A lifelong member of the Eggville Freewill Baptist Church, she had worked the last 5 years as an office clerk at Mac’s Tires in Tupelo. Chasity had many loves especially her family. She met the love of her life, James Pace of Booneville on October 15, 2018. She also enjoyed animals especially dogs and was known to rescue many in her lifetime. He special dog was Daisy. Chasity enjoyed reading especially John Grisham books, watching old movies and being with her special nieces, Candie and Kelsey and her great nephews, John Tyler, Parker and her great niece, Myla.
A service celebrating her life will be held at 11 AM Monday, June 24, 2019 at the Tupelo Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors with her pastor, Dr. Gerald Gann officiating. Private burial will be in the Eggville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 PM-6 PM today and from 10 am –service time on Monday all at Holland-Tupelo Chapel which is honored to be serving their friends.
Chasity leaves behind her mother, Julia Brock of Egville; her boyfriend, James Pace of Booneville; 2 sisters Sandy Brock Byrd and Gary of Eggville and Rhonda Shumpert and Bob of Richmond; 4 nieces; Kristen Shumpert of New York, NY, Katie Roberts (Ben) of Nashville, Candie Beane (John David) of Peppertown and Kelsie Watson (Zack) of Brookhaven-and their families. A host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Tim Brock, Austen Stults, Zack Watson, Gary Byrd, Bob Shumpert and Cody Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony and Melanie Williams, Roger and Marilyn Harrison, Parker Watson and John Tyler Beane-and all the employees of Mac’s Tires.
