Belden – Mr. Robert Ed “Bobby” Mosby, age 75, died Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at North MS Medical Center, Hospice Unit following an extended illness. He was born in Memphis, TN on June 24, 1943 to Robert and Norma Mosby. Robert was a 1961 graduate of Raleigh-Egypt High School. He worked many years as a contractor installing vinyl siding and windows. In later years he worked at Stone Container in Saltillo.
Bobby married Candace Kirby on November 7, 2009. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Sherman. He was a loving husband who had a generous heart, always helping others and never meeting a stranger. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and really loved animals, especially his dogs, Cricket and Suzie.
A celebration of life service will be at 1 PM, Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Macedonia Baptist Church with Bro. Todd Bowen officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5 PM – 7 PM at the Tupelo Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors and Saturday from 12 noon to service time at the church.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Candace Mosby of Belden, 1 son, 1 brother, and 4 sisters. He is preceded in death by his parents.
